The directors and managers of any association, club, casino, or institution of a social, recreational or literary nature, having within their premises selling machines which may be used for gambling or lottery purposes, and of the kind known as slot machines (traganiqueles), or who permit on their premises the operation of said machines, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by the penalty hereinbefore provided, and in case of recidivism in the commission of this offense such premises shall be considered as a public nuisance and the same may be closed by competent authorities.
