Any member of a cooperative may voluntarily retire from the aforesaid, except when he/she holds office as a director of the cooperative, in which case he/she shall be subject to the limitations established in this chapter and in the bylaws of the cooperative.\nHistory —Sept. 1, 2004, No. 239, § 9.1.
