The Board of Directors may convoke general or district special assemblies, when it deems it convenient.\nThe Board of Directors shall be bound to convoke special assemblies when requested by:\n(a) Ten percent (10%) of the total number of members of the cooperative, when it is a matter of a general assembly of members;\n(b) ten percent (10%) of the total number of members of a district, when it is a matter of a district assembly, or\n(c) thirty percent (30%) of the total number of delegates, when it is a matter of a general assembly of a cooperative organized by districts.\nThe petition to the Board shall specify the issues to be discussed at the special assembly.\nHistory —Sept. 1, 2004, No. 239, § 13.0.
