Cooperative federations are governed by the following basic norms:\n(a) Only one (1) federation may be constituted for each type of cooperative throughout the Island.\n(b) Each federation shall be constituted by not less than twenty percent (20%) of the primary cooperatives of the same type. Not less than fifty percent (50%) shall be required in those cases in which a federation is constituted by less than forty percent (40%).\nHistory —Sept. 1, 2004, No. 239, § 27.1.
