When the Inspector of Cooperatives deems that the board of receivers or any of its members are not performing their duties according to the provisions of the law, or are acting against the interests of the cooperative, he/she may dismiss said board or any of its members. Prior to the dismissal or removal, the Inspector shall give notice in writing to the members regarding the charges brought against them and offer them the opportunity to refute said charges at a hearing before him/her.\nHistory —Sept. 1, 2004, No. 239, § 31.3.
