There is hereby authorized the creation of a fund, of a permanent nature, to be known as the 'Fund for Administrative Expenses of Agricultural Programs'. The Secretary of Agriculture is hereby authorized to cover into this fund the amounts which he may deem necessary up to a maximum of six percent (6%) from the amounts appropriated in § 1 of this J.R. for the administration of the Agricultural Programs. The Secretary of the Treasury is hereby directed to transfer to said fund, on request of the Secretary of Agriculture, up to a maximum of six percent (6%) from the amounts appropriated annually for purposes of §§ 420—420g and 318a—318e of this title. Said fund shall be used to pay those operation expenses which the Department of Agriculture has had to incur through the carrying out of the programs. History —May 28, 1970, J.R.
