The Secretary of Agriculture of Puerto Rico shall execute and put into effect the provisions of this chapter and is fully empowered to cooperate with the United States Department of Agriculture in the control and eradication of swine and barnyard fowl diseases.\nThe Secretary of Agriculture of Puerto Rico shall have full power to promulgate and to put into effect rules and regulations specifying the facilities to be required and the sanitation practices to be observed where the feeding of swine or barnyard fowl with garbage is permitted, and including any other provisions necessary to comply with the purposes of this chapter.\nHistory —June 14, 1962, No. 46, § 7, eff. 90 days after June 14, 1962.
