For the enforcement of this chapter the Secretary of Agriculture may make use of the powers, faculties and authorizations already bestowed on him by virtue of other laws and joint resolutions for similar ends and purposes. Neither the provisions of Act No. 49 of August 4, 1947, as amended, which creates the Transportation Office, nor Act No. 96 of June 29, 1954, as amended, which creates the Procurement and Service Act, shall apply for the enforcement of this chapter.\nHistory —June 21, 1971, No. 53, p. 164, § 15, eff.
