The personnel of the Corporation shall be included in the 'Exempt Service', in accordance with the act which created the Personnel Office of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, except as hereinbelow provided for the transfer of personnel. The appointments, suspensions, promotions, transfers, dismissals, reinstatements, severances, leaves, changes of category, remuneration, titles of officers and employees and other aspects of personnel administration shall be made and allowed as provided by the regulation prescribed by the Secretary of Agriculture, which shall be based on the basic principles of the merit system.\nHistory —May 30, 1973, No. 63, p. 282, § 11, eff.
