(1) The Department shall certify the producers, processors, handlers, and any other person involved in the marketing of organic agricultural products produced by organic means.(2) Any person who requests or renews a certification as an organic producer shall submit the corresponding application to the Department with a non reimbursable fee established by the Department.(3) Any person who files a late application shall pay an additional charge established by regulations.(4) A person who is certified as a producer pursuant to this chapter shall have a copy of said certification available for inspection at the organic farm, and any person engaged in marketing, certification or processing shall have a copy of the certification in the main building of their business or commercial establishment.
