For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings stated below:\n(1) Authority. — Means the Land Authority of Puerto Rico.\n(2) Corridor. — Means the zone delimited as the Puerto Rico South Coast Agricultural Corridor, as provided in this chapter.\n(3) Department. — Means the Department of Agriculture of Puerto Rico.\n(4) Board. — Means the Puerto Rico Planning Board.\n(5) Secretary. — Means the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture of Puerto Rico.\n(6) Resolution. — Means the special zoning document issued by the Planning Board with the corresponding delimitations and zonings of the parcels which shall comprise the Agricultural Reserves to be included in the Corridor, as provided in this chapter.\n(7) Buffer zones. — A stretch of land located within the Agricultural Reserve delimitation to protect the agricultural use of the lands, as well as the resources within the Reserve that require protection or to protect the non-agricultural use already established.\n(8) The words used in the singular number shall include the plural number, and vice versa.\nHistory —Aug. 9, 2008, No. 242, § 2.
