The Department of Agriculture shall be responsible for keeping and maintaining an up-to-date register of all dogs required to be registered with this agency, as established in this chapter, also including a full history of the sale or lease of any dog.\nThe owner of the business engaged in selling, leasing or providing certain dog training programs must maintain an individual file for every dog in his/her possession, including the dates of purchase, sale or lease.\nThe owner must also register every dog in his/her possession with the Department of Agriculture within 15 days following its acquisition.\nHistory —Aug. 11, 1995, No. 157, § 6.
