The Court of First Instance shall sit during a term which shall commence on the first day of August of each year or on the first workday after such date, and shall extend until the following June fifteenth.During its corresponding vacation term the Court of First Instance shall continue functioning through one or more acting judges [o]n vacation designated by the Chief Justice. The acting judges [o]n vacation shall be entitled to their leave in a manner compatible with the needs of the service.
