The final data of the computerized correction of the multiple-choice part shall be combined with the grades awarded by the graders to the essay questions in order to obtain the final grade.The point-values of the multiple-choice and essay sections of the examination shall be scientifically adjusted so that the different questions are of equivalent difficulty among themselves and with respect to previous examinations. To accomplish this the Board shall use a scientifically accepted method of evaluation. The passing grade for the general examination of September 1989 is under review and a notice will be published announcing the passing grade for that examination during the month of August 1989.
