Videotape equipment may be used at depositions, as provided by the Rules of Civil Procedure in effect, 32 L.P.R.A. App. III, to perpetuate the testimony of a witness who is not available on the day of the hearing, to take the place of views and inspections, and to introduce evidence in general.
