When the Supreme Court receives the Examiner’s report, it shall make an analysis of its contents and shall enter its order in the case in the shortest possible time. The order of the court may direct that the petition for separation from service be dismissed, that any investigation it deems pertinent be carried out, if it has not been made already, or that the formal proceedings be continued.
