The Clerk of the Supreme Court shall notify forthwith the order of said Court to the judge [subject to] the petition for separation.At any time during the proceeding for informal hearing, and before the Court enters its order, the judge object of [subject to] the petition for separation may submit his resignation to the Governor of Puerto Rico, by the agency of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and in such cases the informal proceeding shall be stayed until the Governor of Puerto Rico makes a decision regarding said resignation.
