The Supreme Court shall adopt Rules of Evidence and of Civil and Criminal Procedure for the General Court of Justice, as well as Rules for the Administration of the Courts, as provided by the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The principles and objectives of this chapter shall be taken into consideration in the adoption of said Rules. The Rules of Administration shall be subject to the laws regarding supplies, personnel, supervision and appropriation of funds, and to other laws generally applicable to the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, all within the framework of the principle of judiciary autonomy.
