Any person who violates the provisions of §§ 536—536h of this title shall incur a felony and upon conviction shall be sanctioned with the penalty of a fine that shall not exceed six thousand dollars ($6,000) and the penalty of imprisonment that shall not exceed two (2) years, or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.Any fine imposed under §§ 536—536h of this title shall revert to the Criminal Justice System, created by virtue of §§ 531 et seq. of this title, to guarantee its effective operation.
