In any offense which constitutes a misdemeanor entailing imprisonment in jail, said confinement shall not exceed one (1) year, with the exception of any violation of subsection 2 of § 203 of the Penal Code which penalty shall remain the same.Nothing herein provided shall alter the provisions established by the law and/or the Penal Code of Puerto Rico regarding penalty other than confinement in jail.
