Without prejudice to the fees prescribed in §§ 2001 et seq. of this title, known as the 'Puerto Rico Notarial Act', regarding their schedule of fees, a monthly stipend of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) is hereby fixed for all General Archivists of the Notarial Districts of Puerto Rico, with the exception of San Juan and Ponce, for the maintenance of adequate premises and to cover other necessary expenses. These monthly appropriations shall be consigned in the annual budget for regular operating expenses for the Judicial Branch.
