The Administrator is hereby authorized to adopt regulations regarding the granting, cancellation and restitution of credits for good conduct, work and studies or for exceptionally meritorious or highly important services according to this chapter and the norms provided in the new Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\nIn order to, be eligible for the benefits of credits for good conduct, work and study, the convict must have satisfied the special penalty established in Section 49-C of Act No. 115 of July 22, 1974.\nHistory —July 22, 1974, No. 116, Part 1, p. 501, § 20; July 10, 1978, No. 21, p. 420, § 1; July 29, 1998, No. 183, § 19; Sept. 15, 2004, No. 315, § 6.
