The employment of inmates under contract with the Corrections Administration of Puerto Rico is hereby adopted as the public policy of the Government of Puerto Rico for the performance of different tasks, such as agricultural, embellishment, and construction activities, as well as the auto-detailing of the government’s vehicle fleet, among others, as part of the inmates’ rehabilitation process and reentry into society.\nHistory —Dec. 16, 2009, No. 166, § 1; Feb. 29, 2012, No. 49, § 1.
