A General Register of Notarial Competences is hereby created, attached to the Notarial Inspection Office, which shall be maintained and administered by the Director of Notary Inspection under the supervision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.\nThe Chief Justice may order the consolidation in the General Register of Notarial Competences, of the Notarial Reports Registry established by §§ 2001 et seq. of this title; the Registry of Wills established in § 2124 of this title; and the Registry of Proxies established by §§ 921 et seq. of this title.\nThe Supreme Court shall establish the operating standards of the General Register of Notarial Competences, by regulations.\nHistory —Aug. 21, 1999, No. 282, § 11, eff.
