If the directors or officers of any corporation organized in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico knowingly cause the publication of or furnish any false written statement or report with respect to any important issue regarding the condition or business of the corporation, such directors or officers who shall have caused the publication or shall have furnished or approved such report or statement shall each be jointly liable for any loss or damage resulting therefrom.\nHistory —Dec. 16, 2009, No. 164, § 4.07.
