(a) The certificate of authorization empowers the foreign corporation to which it is issued to do business in the Commonwealth, subject to the right of the Commonwealth to revoke such certificate of authorization pursuant to the provisions of this subtitle.\n(b) Every foreign corporation with a valid certificate of authorization shall have the same rights, privileges, duties, restrictions, penalties, and responsibilities which a domestic corporation of similar nature may presently have or those which may be imposed thereon in the future.\nHistory —Dec. 16, 2009, No. 164, § 13.06.
