The corporate name of a corporation organized under the provisions of this chapter shall include the words 'professional corporation' or the abbreviations 'C. S. P.', 'P. S. C.', 'C. P.' or 'P. C.'. The corporate name may include a word or words describing the professional service to be rendered by such corporation. The use of the word 'company', 'incorporated', or 'corporation' is specifically prohibited in the corporate name of a corporation organized under the provisions of this chapter, unless said word is immediately followed by the word 'professional' or by any other word, words, abbreviations or prefixes which indicate that it is a corporation.\nHistory —Dec. 16, 2009, No. 164, § 18.14.
