As soon as possible, the Secretary of Agriculture shall direct the technical personnel of his Department to make a study of a practical plan to promote the planting of all species of fruit trees, either native or exotic, that are adaptable to the conditions of the Commonwealth, from the ornamental point of view as well as the nutritive value of its fruit, such as sapodilla, genip, avocado, nammee-apple, mango, custard-apple, tamarind, star-apple, (Inga Laurina), breadfruit, etc., which might be planted along the highways of Puerto Rico, along the coast, or in the interior of the Commonwealth.
