Except as to any bonds of the Authority the payment of which is guaranteed by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the bonds issued by the Authority shall not be a debt of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or any of its political subdivisions, and neither the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico nor any such political subdivision shall be liable thereon, nor shall such bonds or the interest thereon be payable out of any funds other than those pledged for the payment of such bonds and interest thereon pursuant to the provisions of § 2004(l) of this title.\nHistory —June 23, 1965, No. 74, p. 158, § 15, eff.
