The following terms have the meaning stated below:\n(1) Insurer. — Any insurer authorized by the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico to contract vehicle insurance in Puerto Rico.\n(2) Airbag. — A system that has been installed for the protection of vehicle occupants whose main element is a bag which is filled with air during an accident thus preventing the occupants of said vehicle from colliding with its dashboard or windshield.\n(3) Garage or automobile repair shop. — Any place engaged in repairing automobiles as defined in the 'Puerto Rico Vehicles and Traffic Act', §§ 5001 et seq. of this title.\n(4) Vehicle. — Any means of transportation as defined in the 'Puerto Rico Vehicles and Traffic Act', §§ 5001 et seq. of this title.\nHistory —Nov. 7, 1999, No. 325, § 2, eff. 60 days after Nov. 7, 1999.
