Any work done to the airbag system of a vehicle in a garage or automobile repair shop shall be duly described in detail in a register. Said register shall indicate the origin of the parts used and if said parts were new or previously used. The original copy of the description shall be kept by the automobile repair shop in the register and a copy thereof shall be given to the client. Provided, That the information contained in the register shall be checked by the client or by the insurance company before the vehicle is removed from the automobile repair shop.\nSaid register shall be kept and maintained in the repair shop, as established by the Insurance Commissioner and be made available at the request of any law enforcement officer or authorized representative of an insurance company.\nHistory —Nov. 7, 1999, No. 325, § 4, eff. 60 days after Nov. 7, 1999.
