Every sign or advertisement, as well as its accessories, shall receive the appropriate maintenance. It shall be the owner’s responsibility to maintain the structural safety of the sign or advertisement, and give maintenance to its immediate surrounding areas regarding sanitary conditions and ornate. The indiscriminate removal of preexisting trees in immediate surrounding areas of the sign or advertisement is hereby prohibited. This shall not be interpreted as a prohibition to trim trees nor to eliminate vegetation or weeds whenever necessary, in order to guarantee the structural safety of the sign or advertisement, the smooth running of its components, and the safety of the general public.
