Any person who violates the provisions of §§ 2501—2503 of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five [dollars] ($25) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100), or by imprisonment in jail for a term of not less than ten (10) or more than forty (40) days, or both penalties, in the discretion of the court.
