The Secretary of Transportation and Public Works shall have the obligation of establishing and maintaining a Register and an inventory of all motor vehicles that are imported to, travel or are located in Puerto Rico, up-to-date, without prejudice or impairment of the provisions and obligations found in other acts.\nThe Register established by this chapter shall include all the information relative to the introduction, distribution, sale, transfer, export, disappearance, theft, destruction, illegal appropriation, confiscation, abandonment, dismantling and substantial alteration of the vehicles.\nHistory —Aug. 5, 1987, No. 8, p. 612, § 4.
