Subject to public safety requirements, the provisions of this chapter and its regulations regarding traffic, shall not apply to those motor vehicle drivers whose vehicles are used in the construction or repair of sections of the public road or in work related to public service facilities located on or near public roads, but shall apply to the drivers while they are driving said vehicles from or towards the place where the work is being done.\nHistory —Jan. 7, 2000, No. 22, § 10.23, eff. 1 year after Jan. 7, 2000.
