The provisions of § 5171 of this title shall not apply when another form of parking is authorized by the competent authorities, in which case the vehicle shall be parked as prescribed by law or by the regulations, or signals approved by said authorities in agreement therewith.\nAny person who violates the provisions of this section shall incur an administrative fault and be punished with a fine of twenty-five dollars ($25).\nHistory —Jan. 7, 2000, No. 22, § 6.22, eff. 1 year after Jan. 7, 2000.
