All vehicles of public service companies or agencies, except those of the transportation agencies, shall be exempt from the rules on stopping, standing or parking prescribed in this subchapter, whenever used in emergency operations to fix breakdowns, damages or interruptions in the service they render. In such cases, the vehicles used in these operations may be allowed to stop, stand and park for the time strictly needed to fix said breakdown, damage or interruption and so as to cause the least possible interruption to the flow of traffic.\nHistory —Jan. 7, 2000, No. 22, § 6.25, eff. 1 year after Jan. 7, 2000.
