Every driver who drives a vehicle, motor vehicle or trailer on the public highways of Puerto Rico shall be bound to follow and obey the traffic signs and markings, including traffic lights, placed on the public highways with the purpose of directing traffic, as provided in this subchapter.\nHistory —Jan. 7, 2000, No. 22, § 8.01; June 3, 2004, No. 132, § 8, eff. 8 months after June 3, 2004.
