The certification of the weight of vehicles shall be required for the annual renewal of the license of heavy motor vehicles. Every heavy motor vehicle that has been modified after the certification in effect, shall be certified anew.\nThe altering of a heavy motor vehicle shall be sufficient cause to suspend or revoke its license.\nCompliance of the provisions of § 5457 of this title could be sufficient cause to for the immediate and indefinite canceling and revoking of the certification of the weight of the vehicle and the applicable rights pursuant to this Act or by regulation, including the issuing of a special permit or authorization.\nHistory —Jan. 7, 2000, No. 22, added as § 19.04 on June 3, 2004, No. 132, § 20, eff. 8 months after June 3, 2004.
