The lanes designated by the Secretary as special lanes for the exclusive or preferential use of vehicles with more than one (1), two (2), or three (3) occupants shall only be used by vehicles during those periods and pursuant to the conditions indicated through official traffic regulating devices and by the motorcycle patrol units of the Traffic Division of the Puerto Rico Police in special situations and in compliance of their duty, as well as those authorized by law or by the Secretary pursuant to what is established in § 5602 of this title.\nHistory —Jan. 7, 2000, No. 22, § [26.03], renumbered as § 25.03 and amended on June 3, 2004, No. 132, §§ 17, 26, eff. 8 months after June 3, 2004.
