The members of the Commission shall be entitled to a per diem equal to the minimum per diem established in §§ 28 et seq. of Title 2, for the members of the Legislature, for each meeting they attend or for each day in which they conduct any official business entrusted by the Commission or its Chairperson in relation to the duties imposed by this chapter.All members of the Commission shall furthermore be entitled to be reimbursed for the expenses necessarily incurred in the discharge of their official duties, subject to the regulations established to that effect by the Commission and the applicable regulations of the Department of the Treasury.Any member of the Commission who receives a pension or annuity from any retirement system of the Government of Puerto Rico or from any of its agencies, dependencies, public corporations or political subdivisions, may receive the per diem without his/her right to the retirement pension or annuity being affected.
