The members of the Advisory Council shall receive a per diem of fifty dollars ($50) per every meeting they attend, or for their attendance to sessions or committee meetings, per session, special or committee meeting, meeting of any other body, or performance of a task or an attendance authorized by the Chairperson of the Advisory Council, except those who are heads of agencies of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its instrumentalities, except for the Chairperson of the Advisory Council, who shall receive a per diem equal to one hundred thirty three percent (133%) of the per diem received by all other members of the Advisory Council.Members of the Advisory Council who receive a pension for merit or years of service or an annuity from the Employees Retirement Systems of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or from any of its agencies, instrumentalities, public corporations, or political subdivisions, may receive per diems without impairment to their right to the retirement pension or annuity.
