The first week of the month of July of each year shall be commemorated as the 'Municipal Legislator’s Week' throughout the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\nThe Governor, through a proclamation, shall annually exhort the Puerto Rican people during that week to pay a tribute of admiration to all the municipal legislators of Puerto Rico in just recognition of their meritorious work.\nHistory —May 26, 1978, No. 25, p. 54.
