(a) August 18 of each year is hereby declared the 'Roberto Clemente Walker Commemorative Day'.\n(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall exhort the people of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation, to render tribute to the memory of Roberto Clemente Walker.\n(c) The Department of Education and the Recreation and Sports Department shall adopt the necessary measures to comply with the purposes of this section, through the organization and holding of activities in tribute to the memory of this illustrious Puerto Rican.\nHistory —Aug. 13, 1994, No. 79, §§ 1—3.
