(a) October 13 of each year is hereby declared as the 'Day of the Retired Educator'.\n(b) The Governor of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation to such effects, shall exhort the Puerto Rican People to pay tribute each year to all the retired educators in Puerto Rico.\n(c) The Department of State and the Department of Education, in coordination with other public bodies, civic, cultural, educational, art related institutions or entities, and other similar organizations in the private sector, shall organize the official acts each year for the celebration of the 'Day of the Retired Educator'.\nHistory —Jan. 10, 1998, No. 26, §§ 1—3.
