(a) The second day of July of each year is hereby designated as the Sports Journalist’s Day.\n(b) The Governor shall exhort the People of Puerto Rico through a proclamation each year, to show its deepest appreciation and to render a well-deserved recognition to these professional journalists for their valuable contribution to our society, as well as to hold on that day, diverse activities addressed to emphasize the importance of the endeavors of sports journalists.\nHistory —Jan. 19, 1998, No. 33, §§ 1, 2.
