(a) The month of November of each year is hereby declared as the 'Puerto Rico Reading and Book Month', in order to promote commemorative activities, especially during said month, to comply with the purposes of this section.\n(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall each year urge the people of Puerto [Rico] through a proclamation to that effect, to participate in and sponsor commemorative activities during the month of November, the 'Puerto Rico Reading and Book Month'.\n(c) Both public and private entities shall coordinate their efforts to celebrate activities germane to the 'Puerto Rico Reading and Book Month'.\nHistory —July 30, 1999, No. 180, §§ 1—3.
