(a) The first week of the month of May is hereby declared as the 'Kindness to Animals Week'.\n(b) In the official acts held, the 'Kindness to Animals Week' shall be dedicated to all institutions and persons devoted to the protection of animals in Puerto Rico.\n(c) The Governor shall, through an annual proclamation, express public recognition to all institutions and persons devoted to animal protection in Puerto Rico and shall remit copies of this section to the media for its information and disclosure.\nHistory —July 31, 1999, No. 205, §§ 1—3.
