(a) The 7th of September of each year is hereby declared as the day in which to commemorate the musical legacy of composer Roberto Cole in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\n(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall issue a proclamation alluding to said date and shall urge all public, municipal and private entities, as well as the people of Puerto Rico, to take part in coordinating the efforts and activities for the commemoration provided in this section.\nThe Puerto Rico Public Broadcasting Corporation, the University of Puerto Rico, the Department of Education, the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, the municipality of Mayagüez, as well as other public and municipal entities are particularly authorized to coordinate and conduct activities pursuant to the mandate established in this section.\nHistory —Aug. 17, 1999, No. 262, §§ 1, 2.
