(a) The Friday of 'Transportation Week', which is the second week of the month of July of each year is hereby designated as 'Truckmen’s Day'.\n(b) The Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works, in the performance of the powers conferred by § 5067 of this title, shall perform the activities he deems are necessary and convenient to comply with the purposes of this section, in recognition of the work of the truckmen.\nHistory —Apr. 13, 2000, No. 68, §§ 1, 2.
